DigitialOcean released news yesterday, saying that from July 1st, the prices of some products will increase.
I mainly use Basic droplets and VPS. The lowest price has increased from $5 to $6. It doesn’t seem like a dollar. The approximate price increase is 20%, which is relatively high. The Premium Droplets and CPU optimized Droplets saw little gains.

Vultr tweeted the following shortly after DigitalOcean posted the above.

Vultr’s base model is the same price as before DigitalOcean’s price increase. In addition to the two lower-priced VPS it already has, it is a VPS with only IPv6 addresses for $2.5 a month, and a VPS with 512M memory for $3.5 a month.
Today, DigitalOcean has news again, saying that it has launched a smaller droplet, $4 per month, 1vCPU, 512MB RAM, 500GB data, and 10GB storage space. According to it, this new VPS is specially provided for learning, experience, conceptual design and cost-efficiency considerations, and is used for gradual upgrades from development to product launch. This one is basically the same as Vultr’s $3.5 per month.
Another piece of news is that Linode provides a non-stop migration method.
From its introduction, it is also used for disaster recovery. When the hardware is maintained, it can be serviced without downtime.
I have also used Linode’s VPS for many years, and the price of his home is still good.
Should I switch to another one?
Maybe I need to do a comparison to see the performance of the basic models of these three, so happy decision.
