Pinwan, November 9, Disney today released its third-quarter earnings report for the third quarter ended October 1. According to the financial report, Disney’s revenue in the quarter reached 20.15 billion US dollars, an increase of 9% year-on-year.

The financial report shows that Disney made a profit of $162 million in the third quarter, or 9 cents a share. Adjusted EPS was $0.3, down 19% year over year. Divided by sector, Disney’s media and entertainment distribution business achieved revenue of $12.725 billion in the quarter, a year-on-year decrease of 3%; theme park-related business revenue was $7.425 billion, an increase of 36% year-on-year.
On the streaming side, Disney streaming subscribers totaled over 235 million in the quarter. Among them, Disney+ paid subscribers increased by 12.1 million, and the total number of users increased to 164 million.
