According to a report by Nikkei Asia on October 5, Apple has asked suppliers to transfer the production of some AirPods and Beats headphones to India. This is believed to be the first such request from Apple. Apple is currently in discussions with some suppliers to increase production in India, including key acoustic equipment, as early as next year, according to three sources. According to two sources, Foxconn has already started making Beats headphones in India and intends to eventually make AirPods in India. In addition, Luxshare Precision Industry, which currently manufactures AirPods in Vietnam and China, has also started planning to manufacture AirPods in India. But the company is now more focused on Vietnam, so it may be slower than its rivals. (interface)
