At first, I would go to the friend chain from time to time, but as the list gets longer and longer, I don’t have the time and energy to click in one by one, so I miss a lot of friends’ blog updates QAQ Thinking about using RSS Subscribe to the blog updates of your friends chain, so that you can visit from time to time, but then you will be lazy.
So why not directly present the updates of the friend chains on a web page? This way you can take a regular swipe to see what your friends are up to.
Coincidentally, my younger brother orangex4 started a project and used RSS to aggregate some independent blogs from my South. If you think about it, you can make a magic change and use it on your friends chain, so I took advantage of the previous May Day holiday to do it.

The implementation of the original project is also quite clever. It crawls the list twice a day through GitHub Actions, generates the corresponding static website and updates it to cloudflare workers, so as to achieve the effect of regular update.

I feel that the scope of application of this thing is quite wide, not only in the friend chain, even if you want to make a “collection” or the like, you can easily generate an aggregation website through this project + RSSHub ~
If you want to give it a try, the GitHub address is here , and the instructions for use are also attached. After forking, configuring CloudFlare, deploying and modifying, it is easy to make a new website. Interested friends come soon (started hardcore again to star XD)
However, this list still does not have a TAT connection with its own website (I am too lazy to think of a good solution, after all, it is two projects) So if you want to apply for a friend chain, it is best to comment here, and also mention a PR in GitHub~
And there’s more room for improvement
- You can use this to monitor whether everyone’s website can still be accessed, and there are friends who have lost contact;
- If the articles of some friends are not suitable, you can also do some filtering;
- Automatically identify the RSS of the website, so there is no need to fill in the form one by one;
- And there are still too many places to change now, thinking that it can be configured and collected together;
- …
