A few days ago, the global information agency SNE Research released the latest global electric vehicle battery loading data. The global electric vehicle battery market maintained its growth momentum for the 26th consecutive month. Data show that from January to August 2022, the total installed capacity of electric vehicle batteries in the world reached 287.6GWh, a year-on-year increase of 78.7%. Among them, CATL continues to dominate the list, with a cumulative installed capacity of 102.2GWh, which has exceeded the 96.7GWh of last year; South Korea’s LG New Energy ranked second with 39.4GWh of installed capacity; BYD’s installed capacity of 36.5GWh 3rd.
