The high probability that Google’s products or services will shut down is almost a self-fulfilling prophecy. The search giant is now preparing to shut down its already struggling streaming service Stadia. The official Google Blog announced that Stadia will be shutting down on January 18, 2023. Players continue to use it until this date, which is enough to finish the game. Google said in the FAQ that players’ game progress is unlikely to be transferred to other platforms, and that it will refund all hardware buyers. Those who bought hardware directly from Google can keep the hardware without refund, but buyers of Stadia Pro subscription services will No refunds are available, and they can continue to access the Pro game library until January 18th.
