Google Pixel reaches 2% market share in North America

According to Canalys’ North American smartphone shipment data , Google’s Pixel phones shipped 800,000 in the second quarter, accounting for 2% of the North American market share, a year-on-year increase of 230%. In the first quarter of this year, the growth rate of Pixel was as high as 380%. One reason for such a huge increase is the staggering amount of advertising dollars the search giant has invested in, with the Pixel spending more than $100 million in advertising over the past year. The data shows that Apple’s mobile phone share ranks first, with a market share of 52%, followed by Samsung with 26%, Lenovo/Motorola with 9%, and TCL with 5%. The top five best-selling models are all iPhone series, iPhone 13 Mini sales are very poor, it is rumored that Apple will not launch iPhone 14 Mini. The best-selling Android model is the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra in sixth place.
