It’s Sunday of Special Collaboration Month with the Leopold Museum , so it’s time to admire the masterpieces in their collection. ?
Schiller is known for pushing the boundaries of acceptability. In ” Lovemaking ,” the man and woman may still be clothed, but are clearly having sex, which means their sex is more impulsive and possibly even illegal. Still, they stared into the distance with sad expressions. The woman also has an unusual separation between the pinky and ring fingers of her right hand, which complements what can be seen in Schiele’s self-portrait.
