IT House reported on December 28 that the Indian brand Pebble plans to release a new smart watch that looks like it directly copied the design of Apple’s Apple Watch Ultra.
The watch, called Pebble Cosmos Engage, costs only 3999 Indian rupees (about 336 yuan), and its functions in all aspects are obviously not as good as Apple Watch Ultra. For example, this watch claims to use an LCD display with a brightness of up to 600 nits. The Apple Watch Ultra has an OLED display with a brightness of up to 2000 nits. Obviously, this watch will not run the watchOS system, but it seems to copy the Apple Watch’s watch face and heart rate monitoring and other functions.
IT Home understands that Pebble has been selling knockoff versions of the ordinary Apple Watch and other smart watches before, and the brand does not seem to have any relationship with the former smart watch company Pebble, which was acquired by Fitbit in 2016.
