The free software vector graphics editor Inkscape project has released version 1.2 . Key new features include: Page tool to manage documents, editable marker and dashed graphics, merge layers and objects dialog, new Tiling Live Path Effect, import SVG images from online sources like Open Clipart, Wikimedia Commons, gradient dithering, lots of Crash and bug fixes, etc. The Inkscape project was born in 2003, and it took 17 years to release the official version.
