Tianjin Kylin Software and the National Industrial Information Security Development Research Center have announced the openKylin desktop operating system developer platform. openKylin is based on Linux, but it is unknown whether it is based on Debian/Ubuntu. The source code is hosted on Gitee, the source code platform released after the first review, but there is currently no project code, mainly documents and Ubuntu-based Ubuntu Kylin desktop environment UKUI. The openKylin official website currently does not release the operating system download. The only one that provides download is Ubuntu Kylin. The text information shows that the operating system will support the RISC-V architecture. RISC-V is an open source instruction set architecture based on reduced instruction set (RISC) principles.
