Linux common commands-104: ifup

The ifup command is used to activate the specified network interface. It corresponds to the ifdown command. Generally, the network information can be changed without restarting the system, such as changing the MAC address, setting a static IP , etc. The command execution requires root privileges.

Syntax format: ifup [network interface]
