Excessive use of food additives during the introduction of raw milk into storage tanks. The ingredients of the food additive are "INS 1520 propylene glycol 97.3%, food flavoring 2.2%, water 0.5%". Violating the provisions of Article 34 (4) of the "Food Safety Law of the People's Republic of China", which constitutes the behavior of using food additives to produce food beyond the scope. The company's illegal income of 360,000 yuan was confiscated, all unqualified pure milk products were confiscated, and a fine of 73.151 million yuan was imposed.    Previously, the State Administration for Market Regulation attached great importance to the detection of propylene glycol in two batches of pure milk produced by Xinjiang Maiquer Group Co., Ltd. and urged the Xinjiang Market Supervision Bureau to investigate Maiquer Company and deal with it according to law. On July 3, the State Administration for Market Regulation officially announced that after preliminary investigation and analysis, the detection of propylene glycol in Maiquer pure milk was caused by the excessive use of food additives and flavors in the production process. The State Administration for Market Regulation requires the Xinjiang Administration for Market Regulation to find out the facts of the violations of the Maiquer Company as soon as possible, investigate and punish them strictly in accordance with the law, and publish the investigation and punishment in a timely manner.
