Microsoft China appoints Yuan Xin as president of China

Microsoft announced on September 26 that it has appointed Bessie Yuan as president of Microsoft China. Yuan Xin will report directly to Dr. Hou Yang, Microsoft Senior Vice President, Chairman and CEO of Greater China. Yuan Xin will fully lead Microsoft’s China business and drive the growth of the cloud business.

Yuan Xin has more than 20 years of experience in the IT industry, and has served software companies such as VMware, Oracle, and Hyperion. He has served as technical director, sales director, general manager of the business department, vice president, general manager of China, etc. She has served clients in manufacturing, high-tech, finance, retail, telecommunications and other industries, and has led a large number of projects involving digital transformation, big data, artificial intelligence, and large-scale enterprise applications. Yuan Xin worked at Microsoft China from 2017 to 2021, when she was the general manager of the Commercial Enterprise Division (SMC) and the General Manager of the Key Account Division (EC).
