Microsoft Edge Drop – Use Edge to transfer files and texts between computers, and between computers and mobile phones

Microsoft Edge Drop is a new feature of the current Edge browser. It allows the Edge browser to synchronize files and texts through the Onedrive space, and supports synchronizing files between computers and computers, or between computers and mobile phones, which is convenient and fast. @Appinn

Microsoft Edge Drop

The current Drop function requires the Dev or Canary version, which has not yet been added to the official version, and also needs to log in to the Live account, because the OneDrive space is used for synchronization.

Enable Drop

Go to the Dev or Canary version of Edge’s Settings page > Appearance > Drop:

Then you can see a small airplane-style icon in the extension toolbar. Clicking it will open the tool sidebar on the right, which is the main interface of Drop, which looks like an IM tool.

Then you can sync files without restricting file types:

From the interface point of view, the multi-terminal use experience is basically the same, and the synchronization speed is quite fast (depending on the Onedrive speed , and share space), there are notifications, and if you are a cross-platform Edge browser user, it is very easy to use.

The only problem is that it needs a Dev or Canary version, maybe it will enter the Stable version after a while.
