We learned from Pengcheng Lab that the international standard for digital retina system led by Pengcheng Lab was recently officially released by the IEEE Standards Association. This standard is the world’s first international standard for device-edge-cloud collaboration technology. The international standards released this time define the reference architecture, technical features, and functional requirements of the digital retina system, laying the foundation for the formulation of a complete, scientific, and reasonable digital retina standard system. In the next step, researchers will focus on promoting the development, testing, and verification of the Digital Retina series of standards, building the Digital Retina standard ecosystem, and making the Digital Retina standard a cutting-edge technical standard with international influence.
