On the 2nd, it was learned from CNOOC that my country’s first deep-sea floating wind power platform – “CNOOC Guanlan” completed the main project construction in Qingdao. This marks an important progress in the construction of the world’s first “Double Hundred” offshore wind power project with a water depth of over 100 meters and an offshore distance of over 100 kilometers. The “CNOOC Guanlan” platform consists of three side columns and one center column in a triangular shape, with a side length of over 80 meters, a height of about 35 meters, and a weight of nearly 4,000 tons. The fan will be installed on the center column. After the project is put into operation, the power generated by the wind turbines will be connected to the power grid of offshore oilfields through dynamic submarine cables for oil and gas production, and the annual power generation capacity can reach 22 million kWh.
