According to The Verge, Nintendo announced plans to acquire CG production company Dynamo Pictures, which will be renamed Nintendo Pictures after the acquisition.
Dynamo Pictures is a Tokyo-based CG production company that worked on the animation parts of Death Stranding, Monster Hunter: World, and Persona 5. The deal is expected to close on October 3, and Nintendo plans to acquire 100% of its outstanding shares, making it a wholly owned subsidiary. After the acquisition, Nintendo Pictures will focus on developing visual content using Nintendo IP.
