(November 4, 2022, Beijing) Nissan Motor Co. today announced its results for October and January-October 2022 in China. Nissan Motor China (including Nissan, Venucia, Infiniti brands and Zhengzhou Nissan) sold 88,868 units * in October, down 11.5% year-on-year.
Affected by the shortage of parts and components such as chips in the whole industry and the continuous external factors such as the new crown epidemic, Nissan Motor China includes two major businesses, passenger cars and light commercial vehicles (including sales of Dongfeng Motor Co., Ltd. from January to September and Zhengzhou Nissan). Sales in the January-October period including the segment were 926,732 units, down 17.3% year-on-year.

- Passenger car business segment of Dongfeng Motor Co., Ltd. (Nissan, Venucia and Infiniti brands ** * )
- Dongfeng Nissan (including Nissan, Venucia and Infiniti brands) sold 86,065 units in October, up 6% from the previous month. Among them, the sales volume of Nissan brand models was 75,226 units, an increase of 7% month-on-month; the sales volume of Venucia brand models was 10,418 units, a month-on-month increase of 2.7% and a year-on-year increase of 4.0%.
- Dongfeng Nissan (including Nissan, Venucia and Infiniti brands) sold 790,042 units in total from January to October. Among them, the cumulative sales volume of Nissan brand models was 701,274 units; the cumulative sales volume of Venucia brand models was 82,891 units, a year-on-year increase of 36.1%.
- Light commercial vehicle business segment of Dongfeng Motor Co., Ltd. (Zhengzhou Nissan)
- The light commercial vehicle segment (including the January-September sales of Dongfeng Motor Co., Ltd. and Zhengzhou Nissan) accumulated sales of 136,690 units from January to October.
2 ) Product related
- The sales performance of Dongfeng Nissan’s sedan and SUV models in October and January-October are as follows:
- Teana (12,068 units sold) and Sylphy series (40,504 units sold, up 12.7% MoM) drove the sales growth of Nissan- branded sedan models this month. Teana (cumulative sales of 131,201 units, up 3% year-on-year) and Sylphy series (cumulative sales of 366,527 units) drove the growth of Nissan-branded sedan models from January to October.
- The total sales volume of Dongfeng Nissan’s SUV series (including Nissan, Venucia and Infiniti brands) was 25,076 units in October, and 221,130 units were sold from January to October. Among them, Qashqai sold 14,930 units in October, a year-on-year increase of 12.9%, and accumulated sales of 132,275 units from January to October, driving the growth of Dongfeng Nissan SUV models.
- Venucia Grand V (3,467 units sold), Venucia D60 series (6,390 units sold), Venucia D60EV (5,833 units sold, up 136% year-on-year) drove Venucia ‘s October sales growth. Venucia pure electric models (including D60EV and Venucia T60EV, etc.) sold a total of 5,898 units.
- The Infiniti QX50, Q50L, all-new QX60 and all-new QX55 drove Dongfeng Infiniti ‘s sales growth in October.
- Nissan’s Navara and Dongfeng Ruiqi pickups (1,980 units sold) drove the increase in Zhengzhou Nissan ‘s October sales.
