The latest news today is that Nissan is recalling more than 520,000 vehicles due to engine system defects. Due to defects in the engine power generation system, three models of “X-Trail”, “SERENA” and “Langdi” sold under the Suzuki brand were recalled, totaling 527,491 vehicles.

A total of 3,963 defect reports were reported, and 277,462 vehicles were recalled (manufactured from September 2010 to June 2017). The cause of the defect was that the bearing of the power generation component was damaged and it would make abnormal noise. If it continues to be used, the engine may break down. Shutdown or sparks cause fire accidents. There is no further information on how the recalled vehicles will be repaired and upgraded.
