Microsoft just released its first major update to Windows 11, v2022. Users of Nvidia GeForce graphics cards were quick to report severe performance issues: stuttering, framerate fluctuations, and slowdowns. Nvidia said the problem was caused by some Windows graphics debugging features being incorrectly enabled. It has released a beta version of the GeForce Experience package, which it says will fix the problem. This means that the root of the problem is the extension of the Nvidia software rather than the driver. If an Nvidia graphics card user only installs the driver and not the GeForce Experience software, there is a good chance there will be no issues.
