On December 5, a colleague sent a WeChat message saying that he suddenly had a fever and a headache.
On December 6, just after the air defense siren went off at Jiang Zemin’s memorial service, he received a call saying that a colleague had tested positive for himself. I was supposed to go on a business trip, but it was temporarily canceled.
Recalling yesterday’s situation, I had a half-hour meeting with my colleagues in the same closed room, and I was probably about to be shot.
I have been suspecting that I am asymptomatic, because I often have dry throat, fatigue, and diarrhea recently. It’s better to go to the post office to pick up a backlog of couriers, and the colleagues who arrive at the company are already disinfecting. I don’t know if it’s already positive or in stock. Each family has its own secrets, and it’s inconvenient to disclose them to strangers.

Amendments to Beijing’s nucleic acid testing measures:

- When entering elderly care institutions, child welfare institutions, kindergartens, primary and secondary schools, and inpatient departments of medical institutions, you must scan the code and check the 48-hour negative nucleic acid test certificate.
- Important units and major events can determine nucleic acid testing and inspection measures as needed.
- All districts continue to provide free nucleic acid testing services for the public and continue to optimize the layout to facilitate the satisfaction of the masses’ willingness to check and the needs of epidemic prevention work.
- Advocate citizens to take good personal protection, wear masks, get vaccinated, and reduce unnecessary gatherings.
December 7th, I had nothing to do all day yesterday. In the evening, I had a slight fever, like the feeling when I got the second vaccine, and I felt dizzy, like drinking a can of beer. It feels like my body temperature has risen a bit, but it’s okay after the measurement, and there is no follow-up.
Two of my colleagues who went to self-isolation started to have a low-grade fever.
I had a headache at night, my tonsils began to swell, and my swallowing was affected a little. Not a good feeling. Before going to bed, my eyes were a little sore, my headache continued, and my back seemed to be a little dull, but it should be caused by just rowing.
