Over 40 Countries and Territories Offer Digital Nomad Visas

Imagine working on your laptop while looking out at the view. You’re in a tourist spot, but your work is on the other side of the world. More than forty countries now offer digital nomad visas, attracting those who work in one country but live and spend in another. Want to go to the beach? The list has a variety of exotic islands to choose from. Love tropical forests? Try Brazil or Costa Rica. Looking for history? Choice of Spanish or Greek. Fancy an ice bath in the style of the Iceman (Wim Hof)? Iceland is beckoning. The Digital Nomad Visa is a holiday work visa combining a tourist visa and a temporary immigrant visa. This visa allows you to stay long enough as long as you have a job that brings money into the local economy. The length of stay you can stay varies from 90 days in the Caribbean island of Aruba to two years in the Cayman Islands. Most places are 12 months and can be extended. The key is to prove that you do not have to look for work locally and meet the minimum income requirements.
