Public transportation makes you understand life better

It’s summer vacation. In Kaohsiung with good weather, even on weekdays, the MRT and light rail are full of people. There is a joyful atmosphere in the car.

There are elementary school teachers taking students out on trips. Safe and convenient public transportation allows teachers and students to have a better journey and communication. The children are excited to explore their world, and also ignite the enthusiasm of the strangers around them for the world.

At Hama Star Station, I saw this group of children studying the route with travel books. yes! This is the feeling of travel. Although we have long been accustomed to smartphones, it is best to have a paper manual or map in hand, and a group of people can read it together.

There are primary school students, middle school students and college students in the car. These smiles in the sun are probably hard to see on campus. The modern public transportation environment also allows students to enjoy their holidays more.

A group of elementary school students got off the bus at the Art Museum station, and excitedly waved to the strangers on the bus. Brothers and sisters from the middle school by the window also waved to them. On the other side of the aisle, I also feel the vitality of youth.

Not just kids. Public transportation makes life more enjoyable for everyone.

For example, since the opening of the Neiwei Art Center at the beginning of the year, I have often watched movies. It is convenient to come here by MRT and light rail. But the round-trip fare for each person is more than 60 yuan. It’s great to have cheap monthly traffic passes now.

Before the Taiwan Railway newly established the Art Museum and Neiwei Station, and the light rail line entered Neiwei, Neiwei felt far away to people living in the city. Now it’s easy to catch a car, and it won’t take too long to get there. Modern public transport makes cities smaller.

Public transport makes it easier and more motivating to explore all corners of the city and enjoy different life experiences. Instead of only driving and riding a motorcycle every day, or being tied up by a parking space no matter where you go.

In the evening, after watching a movie at the Neiwei Art Center, I wanted to find a place to have dinner, and it was very convenient to take a car.

Take the light rail to the heart of Love River. Nearby is the Hanshin Arena business district.

Or take the light rail in the other direction to Wenwu Temple Station, and get off at Xinle Street. After a short walk, cross Jianguo 4th Road and come to Qixian Road and Dagouding, where the snacks are most dense.

The light rail has brought closer points that were actually very close but felt far away due to the inconvenience of public transportation, and enriched people’s life experience.
