Features of newsletter
During this period of downtime, I found some interesting things, which are unique to newsletter:
- Similar to pen pal reminders . Some friends took the initiative to contact me during the suspension period. I was moved and found that newsletter reminders were also in the form of emails. Of course, there are sporadic friends who find me through instant messaging software, but the form of email seems to be a pen pal.
- Stopping updates will basically not result in unsubscribing . In fact, stopping updates will not have any impact on subscribers, because he will not receive any notifications, and he may even forget about you. The action of unsubscribing often occurs when you are not interested or have different opinions after seeing the updated content.
Although the use of email is not popular in China, I feel that email is still the best way to communicate with weak links . It is suitable in shades and will not disturb your life like instant messaging software, nor will it make you addicted to it like social media , just lie down to your mailbox at the right time, and check back when you are free.
Future plan
- The first thing I thought of was to be responsible for the friends who paid for the subscription. This is also something that I feel ashamed and anxious every time I think about it during the suspension period. So if you are a friend with a paid subscription, first, you can contact me for a refund, and second, you can contact me for a manual extension .
- The second is the content , which should continue the previous content framework, but the proportion of each content will be adjusted. There may be more life, experience, chicken soup and other omnivores; and less financial content, at least some financial content after blurring; other content should remain unchanged.
