Russians try to buy proof unfit for military service to evade mobilization orders

Russian President Vladimir Putin recently issued a partial mobilization order to recruit citizens with military experience to join the army. Some Russian citizens responded by fleeing, others fleeing across the border, and others resorting to illegal means to try to buy documents unfit for military service , opening the door to deception. Fraudsters peddled documents to help evade enlistment through channels such as the dark web and Telegram. They also promised to update the database of regional recruiting offices so recruiters would never find clients. Customers are required to provide a copy of their passport and 27,000 rubles. But after the money is paid, the fraudster blocks the customer from contact, and they may also use the passport to defraud or sell it.
