From October 30 , civil aviation will officially start the winter and spring flight season. With the season approaching, a number of airlines have recently released flight plans for the new season, announcing the resumption and encryption of many international routes.

Jiemian News learned from airlines such as China Eastern Airlines, China Southern Airlines, and Hainan Airlines that in order to implement the State Council’s plan to gradually and steadily increase scheduled international passenger flights as soon as possible, the company quickly formulated a flight recovery plan and resumed and increased flights on a number of international routes.

China Eastern said that it plans to resume a number of international routes at the end of October , including Shanghai-Bangkok-Qingdao, Hangzhou / Qingdao / Nanjing / Kunming-Tokyo-Narita, Qingdao / Nanjing / Yantai-Seoul-Incheon, Qingdao-Dubai and other routes. Since the official opening of the winter and spring flight season on October 30 , 2022 , China Eastern plans to increase its weekly passenger international routes to 42 and 108 flights.

The newly added international routes will be gradually implemented from October 20. Entering November , China Eastern Airlines will gradually resume and encrypt international routes such as Hangzhou-Manila, Kunming-Ho Chi Minh.

It is reported that since July this year , China Eastern Airlines has gradually resumed a number of international routes such as Hangzhou-Manila, Hangzhou-Kuala Lumpur, Qingdao-Osaka, Qingdao-Seoul Incheon, Kunming-Colombo, etc. As of mid- October , the number of international routes that China Eastern and Shanghai Airlines can perform every week has reached 25 and 54 flights.

China Southern Airlines said it plans to resume Guangzhou Jakarta, Dalian Tokyo-Narita routes from October . At the same time, there will be additional flights on Guangzhou-Dubai, Guangzhou-Manila, Guangzhou Bangkok, Guangzhou Phnom Penh and other routes.

Among them, the Guangzhou Jakarta route will resume on October 26, with 2 round trips per week ; the Dalian Tokyo Narita route will resume on October 25 , with 2 round-trips per week; the Guangzhou Dubai route will be increased to weekly from October 27 3 round-trips, the Guangzhou Manila route will increase to 1 round-trip per week from October 27th , the Guangzhou Bangkok route will increase to 1 round-trip per week from October 24th , and the Guangzhou Phnom Penh route will increase to every week from October 18th . 1 round trip per week .

After the restoration and encryption, China Southern Airlines’ international flights will increase from 71 flights per week to 86 flights per week (round-trip counts as 2 flights).

Hainan Airlines said that after the season change, Hainan Airlines will continue to operate Beijing-Brussels, Beijing-Moscow, Beijing-Belgrade, Beijing-Berlin, Beijing-Manchester, Chongqing-Rome, Chongqing-Madrid, Shenzhen-Vancouver, Dalian-Tokyo, Dalian – Seoul has a total of 10 round-trip international passenger routes.

At the same time, the frequency of Chongqing-Rome international flights will be increased to twice a week. In the winter and spring of 2022 , Hainan Airlines will continue to speed up the resumption of international flights to further meet the needs of entry and exit.

Under the coordination of the joint prevention and control mechanism of the State Council, the Civil Aviation Administration of China has negotiated with some countries to gradually and steadily increase regular international passenger flights to meet the needs of personnel exchanges.

From August 7th, the Civil Aviation Administration of China has also adjusted and optimized the circuit breaker measures for international scheduled passenger flights, shortened the circuit breaker time, and relaxed the circuit breaker standards to provide more favorable conditions for the resumption of international flights .
