Speedoc is a medical care provider dedicated to solving medical care tensions, mainly providing patients with services such as telemedicine consultations, home visits, ambulance assistance, and virtual wards. Speedoc recently announced the completion of a $28 million Pre-B round of financing. The financing was provided by a number of new and existing investors including Bertelsmann Investments, Shinhan Venture investment, Mars Growth, and Vertex Ventures Southeast Asia & India. Regarding the use of this financing, Speedoc said it will be used to promote the development of its virtual ward business and further accelerate the company’s expansion in Southeast Asia, especially in areas where there is a shortage of medical professionals.
