Apple outperformed the market during this year’s 6.18 online shopping festival, selling nearly 7 million iPhones, down 4 percent year-on-year. It is estimated that during this year’s 6.18 online shopping festival, about 49% of smartphones were sold through JD.com, followed by Tmall and Taobao (accounting for a combined 30% of sales). It is also estimated that Douyin and Kuaishou contributed to this year’s 8% and 6% share of smartphone sales online, up from 3% and 2% last year.
