subject object predicate

As mentioned before, the word order structure of Japanese and Tibetan is different from the Chinese and English we are used to. It is in the form of “subject-object-predicate” with the predicate verb placed at the end of the sentence.

  • Chinese and English are “subject-predicate-object”. For example: I am a student. I miss you.
  • Japanese and Tibetan are “subject-object-predicate”. Similar to: I-student-am. I-you-want.

: (complaining) So people often say that Japanese people are polite and will listen to what others have to say. In fact, it is because of this structure that you need to listen carefully to the last word before you know whether the entire sentence means “yes” or “no”.

: For Japanese people who need to use different honorifics, it is also convenient for them to list the objects first, and then decide what kind of honorifics to use to modify the verb according to their identity.

Another reason why blogs sometimes write less is probably because there is unconscious confusion in the aspect of “Who is the article written for?”

remove part

  • Technical stickers
  • Share interesting experiences or insights
  • Description, analysis, and display of one’s own status

articles; many other articles should (consciously or unconsciously) have a potential writing target. he may be

  • In reality, a specific person may be emotionally related, or he may just be shouting from a distance. Of course, the other party may not come to see it;
  • An illusory object to talk to;
  • Certain phenomena you want to complain about and the group of people they represent;
  • The readers who are expected to come to this blog are not specific people, but have some stratospheric qualities;
  • Maybe, this object is still myself.

So, often in the middle of writing, I suddenly realize the existence of this object, and then fall into the depression of “What does it mean if I write like this?”, and stop writing.

Or, in the middle of complaining, I suddenly realize that the characteristics I am complaining about are actually not relevant to the people who come to read the blog. So instead, I was worried that readers would misunderstand my position, or that they would think that my way of talking nonsense into the air was very daddy.

——Just like in the sentence “Subject-Object-Predicate”, when the predicate is written halfway, the existence of the preset object is realized.
