Sumutasu is a Japanese real estate service provider that focuses on providing direct online real estate buying services, primarily using an iBuyer model where homes are purchased directly from homeowners, undergo extensive renovations, and then resell to buyers. Recently completed a $10 million Series B financing, dedicated to digitizing the Japanese real estate market. Existing investor World Innovation Lab (WiL) and new investor Mobile Internet Capital co-led the Series B financing. Other new investors include Mercuria Investment, Carta Ventures and Kiraboshi Capital. Japanese financial companies dominated debt financing.
