Supernova raises $1.1 million in seed funding

Supernova is a gamified teaching platform that focuses on mathematics, physics and chemistry courses for children aged 4-12. Focus on making learning more engaging through gamified design to redefine current forms of passive learning. The platform integrates subject content into a 30-minute interactive series of courses, provides multimedia assistance, virtual labs, video lectures and live quizzes for children aged 4-12, and provides continuous assessment and high-frequency feedback for parents. Students are offered additional courses, as well as career guidance and counselling services. Supernova recently announced that it has secured $1.1 million in its Pre-seed financing. This round was led by Lumikai, India’s first gaming and interactive entertainment venture capital fund, with Kae Capital, All-In Capital, Goodwater Capital, as well as Swiggy founders Nandan Reddy and Phani Kishan, PayU and Uni founders Nitin Gupta, former Gaana Several well-known angel investors including CEO Prashan Aggarwal and Moonfrog Labs founder Tanay Tayal participated in the investment.
