It has been 8 months since I first contracted covid-19 at the end of last year.
It seems that I have been recruited again recently, so I will record it here.
After lunch last Thursday (August 10th), I felt a little sleepy, so I took a nap on the office chair. I don’t usually have a regular lunch break, and I think it’s because I didn’t sleep well the day before. Woke up at 14:00, still feeling out of spirit. When I got up to go to the toilet, I felt a little dizzy, but I didn’t care too much.
When I got off work at 18:00, the dizziness didn’t subside and seemed to get worse. Walking on the way to the cafeteria is a bit floating. I had no appetite, so I finished eating quickly, and felt that I was not strong enough to walk home, so I took a ride with a colleague and hurried home to sleep.
At this time, I doubted myself Eryang a little bit. However, the body temperature was 36.3, and there was no fever or other symptoms similar to a cold, only dizziness.
A week before, my colleague who sat across from me said that he was confirmed to have been infected with covid-19 for the second time (self-test antigen). I had a fever all night, which coincided with the weekend (August 5/6), and recovered after two days of rest. And I have no fever symptoms, not sure if it is.
There is no antigen test at home, and I am too lazy to go out and buy it. I didn’t take medicine, just drank a few more cups of boiled water, went to bed at 20 o’clock, and slept until 7 o’clock on Friday morning, and I still didn’t feel fully recovered. I greeted my colleagues in the company and said that I would not go to the company in the morning.
Went to the office by bus on Friday afternoon. I chatted with my colleagues about the progress of the work, and I was not in the mood to write programs. After get off work at 18:00, I went to the cafeteria to eat and then took the bus home. Head still a little dizzy, but better than Thursday.
I felt weak on weekends, so I didn’t go rock climbing. Sleeping at home on Saturday and Sunday. By Sunday afternoon, I felt much better, so I read half of the novel. Because of dizziness, I didn’t want to play Baldur’s Gate 3, so I took out the unfinished “Metroid: Survival Fear” and continued. In the evening, I played the board game Catan and went to bed early. The body is still slightly unwell (mainly dizziness) before going to bed. The temperature did not exceed 36.5 throughout the weekend.
Yundou: Dad, is your illness not cured yet?
I said: not entirely good.
Yundou: Dad, I want to ask you a question, but I dare not say it.
I said: I will not die.
When I was sleeping, I kept thinking that if I was not feeling well, I would not be able to do many things, especially things that use my brain. Therefore, physical health is indeed the most important thing.
When I woke up on Monday, I was fully recovered.
I had a chat with my colleagues during lunch. Colleagues in the same group started to feel dizzy on Wednesday and had no fever, but had diarrhea for several days.
The colleague who sent me home on Thursday also lay down at home on weekends, feeling particularly lethargic.
In the end, no diagnosis was made. I don’t know if it is covid-19, but at least it seems to be a contagious virus. The symptoms are very mild, and the self-healing period is even shorter than that of a cold.
