introduction
It is the annual college entrance examination month and the annual graduation season. The difference from previous years is that this year is 10 years since I graduated from university. So this month I plan to write an article to commemorate it.
college entrance examination
In June 13 years ago (2009), I took the college entrance examination. On the night of the exam, our class also organized an activity to go to the Internet cafe to play games all night. Then everyone dispersed.
When we meet again, it’s time to go to the school to fill in the volunteers. At that time, I can’t remember exactly how many points I got in the college entrance examination. Bar. The high school at that time was not very good, and the number of people admitted to the undergraduate course was very small.
When it came time to fill in the volunteers, I chose the school first and then the major. I was interested in computer at that time, so I found a school that I thought was pretty good.
I remember that many classmates were worried about filling out their volunteers at that time, because most of the Chinese students’ primary task was to study, and they kept studying. Apart from studying, they didn’t even know what their interests were? When it comes to the college entrance examination to fill in the volunteers, I worry.
The advice of those who come here is to choose a school first, and then you can transfer after you have volunteered to enroll. When choosing a major, you must choose a major that you are interested in. Don’t choose it because of the high salary in the current industry, because it is hard to say what the industry will be like after you graduate.
the University
I am quite satisfied with my university. The school is not small, and because it is a new campus, the teaching buildings and dormitories are relatively new. is the location is a bit biased, in the innermost one of the university town.
I learned C language in my freshman year, but I was pulled by the counselor to do some aerobics. I was completely asleep in the C language class, and I basically didn’t listen to it anyway. Fortunately, I went to the school library to borrow a book during the winter vacation. Self taught.
My favorite at school is the library. There are 4 floors where books can be borrowed, and the 4th floor is for computer-related books. I often go to borrow books to read.
On the 1st floor, there are the latest magazines and newspapers to read. It was there that I met “Computer News” and “Computer World”. What impressed me was that I read an article on Douban, which brought me into the world of Douban. My Douban account was registered in 2011 and is still in use.
Before that, I often went to Time.com to read film reviews. I once felt that Douban.com rated the film too low.
In the freshman and sophomore years, we learned Photoshop, HTML+DIV+CSS, PHP, and the basic knowledge related to programming. When I first learned to do a login and registration function, I felt very excited?. I remember that our sophomore final assignment was to find a few classmates to team up to complete a website. I remember that I was working on an e-commerce website. In the end, it seemed that I underestimated the workload and did not finish it.
After graduating, I learned that there are really not many PHP courses in universities, and they are generally taught by training institutions. The teachers in our department are relatively young. The teacher who taught us PHP taught ASP before, and he taught us while he was learning.
I was very good at Photoshop back then. I got the second place in the class in the final exam. My roommate came first, but I haven’t used it for many years, and now I basically don’t use it anymore.
practice
During the summer vacation of my sophomore year, I didn’t really want to go home. I wanted to find a company to realize it and find a job with a few classmates. Just a few days before the school dormitory was about to close, I found a job on 58, and this job was still writing code. work. I also brought a few classmates over by the way.
The company is a newly established company, and the boss is very young. It is an outsourcing company. He gave me 2,000 a month. In Wuhan in 2011, I was quite satisfied. That’s when I started to build my own blog, and of course I built it with WordPress at first, and my first blog is still here – “Remember the first list I negotiated with the company” .
The summer vacation was too short, and we didn’t want to leave, so when the junior year started, we applied with the counselor not to go to class and continued to work. There are not many courses in the junior year, and the counselor approved our work because it was related to the major. So I only went to college for 2 years, but I paid tuition for 3 years.
Now whenever I think about it, I feel a little regretful. College time is a very good time. If you don’t enjoy it at school, why do you have to go out to work early?
Later, because the small company became bigger, the recruitment was accelerated, but the business and management would also face a lot of pressure because of the large number of recruits. I left at the end of the year, and there was an article record at that time – “Thanksgiving Point” .
It’s interesting to look back on what I wrote back then ?
to Shenzhen
After graduating from university, I found a few more jobs in Wuhan:
- I worked on a foreign trade website and used Magento as a group site. All I did was manual work. After a month, I left.
- I went back to Wuhan from Beijing to start a company. The company was in the community. It was a traffic website such as jokes, and then it made money from Taobao stores. After working for a few days, I didn’t know what to do, and then I was fired.
- I went to a company for an interview and tried it out for a few days. The boss asked me to do a small project during this period as a test, and he sent me money to leave if I failed. The result is that it didn’t pass.
- Finally, I went to an e-commerce company to maintain a website. The website was outsourced and developed. The company’s technical department has a front-end and a big guy plus me. However, there are few things in the company, it is very leisurely, and the boss is also a professional manager. I have been with this company for over half a year. Until the new year, ready to come to Shenzhen.
I came to Shenzhen mainly because Wuhan is closer to Shenzhen than Shanghai and Beijing. At that time, three of us came to Shenzhen together, and now there are only two of them.
at last
This article mainly wants to recall my university, which I miss very much. Sigh the passage of time, 10 years in a flash.
