Two days ago, the STEEM account exceeded 1 million SP. This is the Steem Power of the account itself, not including the proxy . Just not long ago, the account level has officially passed level 80 (but the level is not very useful on the STEEM blockchain).

I have been playing STEEM for 7 years ( @justyy registration time on August 20, 2016 18:36:21 ) and I have been playing witness (block producer, also known as Block Producer miners) for more than 5 years ( from February 25, 2018 22:17:18 ).

The longer I hang around on this platform, I finally feel that I am the master. At least from three perspectives (witness, account SP, level), I should be a big whale.

Many former big whales (Big Whale, that is, accounts with more SP on the STEEM blockchain) have stopped playing. When the fork was forked three years ago, some people ran to the HIVE fork. Furthermore, the current mainstream is basically Blockchain 3.0, such as smart contracts , but STEEM is still stagnant in the era of 2.0, and the protocols and algorithms on the underlying chain have not been changed for more than three years.

I like this platform because the text sent to this platform is stored on the blockchain. My own text is my own decision, and I am not afraid that the account will be blocked. I asked ChatGPT on the STEEM blockchain, when the price of STEEM was the highest, and it answered very reliably, it reached $8 in 2017! But there wasn’t much STEEM back then. Now it is basically at $0.2 each, and the shutdown price of STEEM is about $0.01. Because it is a DPOS algorithm , the configuration of the running nodes does not need to be too high.
