Titanium Media App reported on June 8 that on the 7th, the construction of the Laba Mountain Wind Power Project in Dechang County, Liangshan Yi Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan Province officially started construction, which is the first batch of large-scale wind power photovoltaic base projects in the country. The Laba Mountain Wind Power Project has an installed capacity of 192,000 kilowatts and plans to build 60 wind turbines. The Laba Mountain Wind Power Project plans to hoist the first unit in October 2022, and all units will be put into operation in September 2023. It is understood that after the completion of the water-wind-solar hybrid green and clean renewable energy demonstration bases in the Yalong River Basin, it can contribute more than 220 billion kWh of clean electricity every year. The equivalent annual utilization hours of Labashan wind power is 2,612 hours. After completion, it can provide about 501 million kWh of clean electricity to Sichuan every year, which can meet the annual electricity consumption of about 210,000 households. The electricity it generates every year can save about 160,000 tons of standard coal and reduce carbon dioxide emissions by about 400,000 tons.
