I have always set shift + control + command + t as the global shortcut key for posting with Tweetbot . Pressing it at any time will pop up the Tweetbot window. After MarsEdit 5 has the “micropost” function for sending short sentences, facing the new shortcut key, it is still a choice to directly replace the above shortcut key with it. Choosing the latter is to use muscle memory to remind yourself not to post content to “social platforms”.
The small window of MarsEdit micropost can add Markdown or HTML, which may not seem so light, but the experience of “can decide whether to use it by yourself” is too precious in the era of social platform monopoly.
