The new energy vehicle market is far from the era of melee, even if it already has a pattern like BYD + new forces + four little dragons.
The China Association of Automobile Manufacturers predicted a few days ago that China’s total auto sales in 2022 will be 26.8 million, a year-on-year increase of 2%. Industry data also shows that sales of new energy vehicles may reach 6 million last year, accounting for about 20%, but a considerable proportion of them are still hybrid vehicles, and the proportion of pure electric vehicles is even lower.
Therefore, 80% of the cars come from those traditional car manufacturers. At present, they have been continuously developing new energy sources. When they really join the competition with all their strength, I am afraid that the real scuffle will come. Perhaps Weilai, Xiaopeng, Huawei and Ideal, Xiaomi and Nezha will only be a niche brand of new energy vehicles, and the real giants are still traditional auto giants such as Toyota, Honda and Volkswagen.
