Titanium Media App reported on June 1 that domestic smartphone sales fell further, and the total installed volume of smartphone cameras shrank accordingly. Monthly data released by CINNO Research shows that in April 2022, the total number of cameras installed in the domestic smartphone market will be reduced to 65 million, a year-on-year decrease of about 27% and a month-on-month decrease of about 14.5%. CINNO believes that the current smart phone innovation is not strong and the sales volume is weak. Under the squeeze of the cost of components, the low-end and mid-end models are pursuing high cost performance in terms of camera configuration. Number boost is limited. As a result, CINNO Research predicts that in 2022, the total number of cameras installed in the Chinese smartphone market will be reduced to about 1.1 billion, a year-on-year decline of 13.2%.
