TikTok can’t stop users from searching for conservative justices

After the U.S. Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade, retaliatory TikTok users created a series of protest videos online, many of which claimed to be human-fleshed to five conservative justices who voted down federal abortion rights . Vice reported that some TikTok videos with thousands of likes, comments and views revealed the home addresses and “credit card information (allegedly)” of Supreme Court conservative justices Samuel Alito, Clarence Thomas and Amy Coney Barrett. The accuracy of the credit card information has yet to be proven. TikTok quickly removed some of these videos, but not all of them. Even when the videos are taken down, the information shared in the videos tends to be republished through “smaller and smaller accounts.”
