1 Musk’s x-ai company releases truthgpt

Musk was the earliest investor in OpenAI, and after quitting, Microsoft and OpenAI walked together. Musk “felt” that the current OpenAI violated the original intention, so he started the current x-ai company and released truthgpt.

2 MiniGPT

MiniGPT is a Vision-Language model. Simply put, it is actually “talking through pictures”. Through the BLIP-2 model 1 , it can obtain text by inputting pictures, and then generate more detailed picture descriptions through the Vicuna large language model.

On the surface, it is possible to understand pictures, but in fact, it outputs text descriptions through the mapping of pictures and text annotations and the generation of a large language model.

3 Stability open source large language model StableLM

Everyone knows that Stable Diffusion is a well-known open source solution for generating images from text on the AIGC track, and Stability is the company behind Stable Diffusion. This week, Stability also open sourced their own large language model – StableLM.

TIP

Last week, Databricks (commonly known as “Brick Factory”) also released their large language model Dolly 2.0

  1. Do you still remember the CLIP model mentioned by Mr. Fuqiang in “ComfyUI from entry to mastery”? It belongs to a class of models with BLIP-2 ↩
