Turn old PCs and Macs into Chromebooks

Google announced Chrome OS Flex, a new version of Chrome OS in February, designed to run on older PCs and Macs. Chrome OS Flex has the same look and feel as Chrome OS running on Chromebook laptops, and is based on the same codebase and release cycle. Google says that installing Chrome OS Flex is as simple as creating a bootable USB stick and then installing the replacement operating system on the device in minutes. Chrome OS Flex was in early access at the time. This week, Google announced that the operating system has entered the GA (general availability) stage, and certified more than 400 devices to run Chrome OS Flex stably, including Apple Mac Mini 7,1, Apple MacBook 7,1, Apple MacBook Air 5 , 1, the first generation Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon and so on.
