Frostfall is the eighteenth of the twenty-four solar terms and the last one in autumn. Dou refers to Xu; the ecliptic longitude of the sun is 210°; the festival falls on October 23-24 of the Gregorian calendar every year. After entering the Frostfall solar term, the scene of late autumn is obvious, and the cold air goes south more and more frequently. Frostfall does not mean “falling frost”, but means a sudden drop in temperature and a large temperature difference between day and night. On the national average, “frost” is the time of year with the largest temperature difference between day and night. In the season of frost, all things are completed, they are completed in Xu, and the sun goes down into the earth…
