U.S. senators unveil cryptocurrency regulation bill on GitHub

U.S. Senator Cynthia Lummis (R-WY) announced on GitHub that the proposed cryptocurrency regulation bill, the Responsible Financial Innovation Act , has attracted 56 Issues and 21 Pull requests, many of which are hoaxes. There is also serious discussion that authors need to follow the pattern of publishing content on GitHub. There have also been proposals to impose a mining tax on Proof of Work (PoW) cryptocurrencies. Proof-of-work currencies such as Bitcoin consume a lot of energy during the mining process, which has caused a lot of controversy. GitHub uses the Git version control system to keep track of all changes, and there have been proposals to make Git mandatory in lawmaking and bill drafting to make it easier for people to understand changes.
