Vacations are never enough – 2023 Summer Vacation Review

Summer vacation is a golden time for children to release energy, discover interests and recharge their batteries. During this summer vacation, we have planned a series of activities, including science and technology summer camps, foreign travel, family rest time, etc., in order to allow children to find a balance between study, play, and rest, and make full use of the vacation time. Technology Summer Camp

In the first and second weeks of summer vacation, we sent our children to a science and technology summer camp. Here, children can not only learn the latest technological knowledge and improve their technological literacy, but also meet a group of like-minded friends. Through this summer camp, children learned teamwork and enhanced their self-confidence.

The first week after summer camp, our family flew to Belgrade , Serbia. This is a city full of history and culture, we visited many monuments and tasted local delicacies. The children are full of curiosity about this strange country, and we explored this beautiful city together.

Because the child has a British passport and the two of us have Chinese passports, we found a country where the whole family does not need a visa to travel.

After our trip in Belgrade we went home for a week of rest. During this time, we mainly rested at home, packed our luggage, and planned our next trip.

After the rest, we started the next trip, this time we chose Llandudno in North Wales, England. It’s a beautiful seaside town and we had a great week here.

When we got home, we took another week off. During this time, we sorted out the photos, recalled the good times of this summer vacation, and began to prepare for the children ‘s start of school.

This summer vacation, we traveled all over the mountains and rivers, experienced different cultures, and the children also gained a lot of knowledge. However, the summer vacation is over. For me who is busy with work, I still feel that the vacation is not enough, and I want to take another vacation. However, life always has to go on, a new semester, a new beginning, we have to take the good memories of this summer vacation to meet new challenges. Even if the holiday is over, we can’t stop exploring. Let us look forward to the arrival of the next holiday together, and continue to cheer for life and children!

Whether we’re kids or adults, we all seem to share the feeling that vacations go by too quickly and never seem to be enough. This summer vacation, although we have traveled many times, participated in summer camps, and have special rest time, but before we know it, the summer vacation is coming to an end. The kids start getting ready for a new term and I start getting back into work.

For children, summer vacation is a time for them to break free from the shackles of school and play freely. They can participate in summer camps to learn new knowledge; they can travel with us to broaden their horizons; they can stay at home and play freely. For me, although the summer vacation is a slightly relaxing time, after all, I still have work responsibilities and family care. During this period, although I can spare time to accompany my children, I always feel that there is not enough time, as if there are still many things to be done.

While the holidays always don’t feel like enough, we can’t stop moving forward. Vacations are never enough, but we can’t let that stop us from moving forward.
