Valve’s Linux console, the Steam Deck, is already in stock, so players won’t have to wait any longer. Its latest promotional video (YouTube, no longer available) has sparked a buzz on social media because it contains the logo of the Nintendo Switch emulator Yuzu. Steam Deck is essentially a Linux PC, and supporting emulators is easy, but including an emulator in a promotional video might spark associations: Players dream of playing Nintendo games on Steam Deck, and Nintendo’s legal department has been concerned about emulators and Nintendo in recent years. The game mirror ROM is quite aggressive, but its previous opponents are ordinary people, and Valve is a giant. What “sparks” will the two sides create? – This may be something that some people are curious about. The current situation is that Valve took a step back and it re-uploaded a new video (YouTube), removing the Yuzu part.
