Include more Vietnamese companies in Apple's supply chain. Cook said Apple is interested in partnering with Vietnamese manufacturers that meet the company's standards. Hon Hai will partially move iPad and MacBook production to Vietnam, and as Apple shifts part of its supply chain, it is expected to boost the local economic prosperity in Vietnam. Another announcement on the official website of the Vietnamese government said that Amphenol, which supplies electronic components to Boeing, Apple and Tesla, may also relocate some of its production lines to Vietnam, but did not elaborate.
