Among them, Volvo Car Sales (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. recalled some imported XC90 vehicles of the 2020 and 2021 models produced from June 4, 2019 to March 8, 2021, totaling 1,379 vehicles.
Daqing Volvo Car Manufacturing Co., Ltd. recalls some 2020 and 2021 domestic S60 vehicles produced from May 15, 2019 to September 1, 2020, a total of 294 vehicles, from March 28, 2019 to October 8, 2020 Some 2020 and 2021 models of domestic S90 long-wheelbase vehicles were produced, totaling 2,109 units.
Zhejiang Haoqing Automobile Manufacturing Co., Ltd. is recalling some 2020 and 2021 domestic XC60 vehicles produced from February 25, 2019 to September 24, 2020, totaling 938 vehicles.
It is reported that some plug-in hybrid electric vehicles within the scope of this recall have internal short circuits in the power battery module cells. When the power battery is in a high energy state, the battery module may overheat. In extreme cases, the power battery thermal runaway may occur. Security risks.
From September 30, 2022, car companies will temporarily adopt free software upgrades for vehicles within the scope of the recall to reduce the risk of thermal runaway. At the same time, from May 1, 2023, all power battery modules will be replaced free of charge for vehicles within the scope of the recall to eliminate safety hazards.
