Watched the Cygames exhibition Artworks

September 10, 2023, the weather is fine, I will go to Ueno to watch “Cygames Exhibition Artworks” today

Speaking of which, when I first came to Japan in 2019, I went to Ueno for a holy land tour, but I didn’t seem to organize the photos and post them on the blog. Next time I have time, I will dig out my old mobile phone and sort them out.

This art exhibition selected all the original game paintings and settings that Cygames has produced so far. The manuals sold afterwards are as thick as an encyclopedia, which shows that the number of exhibitions is really amazing.

In addition to two special areas in the venue, photos and videos can be taken throughout the entire event, making it the conscience of the industry!

In addition, Cygames specially produced a commentary APP for this exhibition, with the main voice actors of each game providing commentary. Thinking about previous exhibitions, the commentary often required an additional 500 yen to buy a separate commentary ticket. Once again, I lamented the conscience of the industry!

Then let’s follow the photos to record this art exhibition.

The walls of the museum on display have been replaced with assembly pictures of this Cygames exhibition.

Entering the exhibition hall is a chronicle and video reviewing Cygames.

The first exhibition area is the content of “The Wrath of Bahamut”. Since I have never touched it at all, I passed by it in a hurry.

“Shadow Poetry” Exhibition Area

Touching each card will have a set of card animations.

“Granblue Fantasy” exhibition area

Speaking of which, the console version of Granblue Fantasy will finally be released next year. It’s such an ill-fated game.

Now I know that Cygames was also involved in the “Idol Master” game.

When I first came to Japan and there were no games to play, I relied on this game to kill time.

Even now, whenever a new Kokoro painting comes out, I still pick it up and play with it.

It was also the only game I played in this exhibition (laughs), so I took a few more photos.

However, this exhibition does not include Ogura Yui, so I don’t really approve of it!

Cygames’ less famous works are exhibited here.

Dragon AR

If you shoot with the official guide APP, animation effects will appear. It should be that Cygames wants to show everyone how solid its AR technology is.

“Jockey Girl” area

It seems that the Chinese server has recently launched this mobile game.

Although there have been legal disputes with other companies in Japan for a while, I still can’t resist a popular mobile game in Japan.

But I have never been exposed to related culture at all, so I am not very interested in it.

New work exhibition area

At this exhibition, two new works were announced, “Magic Red Battlefield: Warlock Warlock” and “Granblue Fantasy Relink”, which had a previously confirmed release date.

It can be said that mobile game revenue feeds back console games.

Since photography is prohibited in the exhibition area, there are no pictures here.

At this point, the exhibition is all over.

For me, who has only played one of their games, I can feel the strength of this game company and its sincere passion for making games.

I hope Cygames can bring more console games in the future and save the decadent trend of JRPG.

Finally, the trophies of this exhibition
