Titanium Media App reported on August 10 that Lenovo Group has recently started the recruitment of automotive R&D personnel. Yang Yuanqing, chairman and CEO of Lenovo Group, responded at the performance meeting that Lenovo has no plans to build a car, and recruiters are for forward-looking research. "Lenovo has no plans to build a car, that's for sure," Yang Yuanqing responded. Lenovo Research Institute is conducting some forward-looking research in the field of future computing. These car-related R&D personnel will focus on Lenovo's new IT architecture.
